It features a two-way, separating, extra heavy duty NOMEX zipper, fully covered with an insulated storm flap and secured with hook and loop. It also has a fully insulated stand-up collar, knit NOMEX storm cuff, three large external patch pockets with hand warmers, one inside chest pocket, sleeve pocket, deep pleated action back, elastic inserts at waist across back, inside zipper guards on all zippers, and an internal snow belt. The fabric is flame resistant, 5.3 oz. water repellant NOMEXIIIA, and the insulation is flame resistant 10.5 oz. quilted NOMEX with wind and moisture barrier. This parka is light soil wash.
