Direct Digital Print

Digital Print, Direct Digital Print, Direct to Garment, DTG, are all interchangeable terms for the same process. Your design is printed directly on your shirt or product with an inkjet garment printer. These printers use inks that are specially formulated to be thin enough to use in an ink jet printer and durable enough to last through repeated launderings.  One added benefit is that you get a soft hand finish that is virtually imperceptible to the touch.

Whether we print one color or thousands of colors, we can handle the task. Send us your wildest, most colorful, designs. However, this printer does not have white ink (though some do). Because of the increased time, cost, and failures of white ink printers we have chosen not to use white ink. This decision means that we need to print on white or light color shirts or products for the print to be visible.

We have no setup fees for our direct to garment printing, so it is a viable option for full-color designs. Many customers use this for the fulfillment of small quantity orders, their uniform management programs or where screen printing just isn’t practical.

Minimum

There is an absolute 12 piece minimum order on new artwork. Some exceptions may be made on re-orders and program orders. If ordering online, this may not calculate correctly, but you will be contacted to increase your order to at least 12 pieces.

Setup

There is no set up fee if you provide high quality artwork that can be scaled to print at the size requested. We can print from any type of art be it vector or raster. However if your design requires our artist's time to create or re-draw your design you may be billed accordingly. We will always discuss any required changes and get your approval before we proceed.

Turnaround Time

From start to layout approval is generally 1-2 days. Once approved please allow about 5 days for direct to garment production.
